"the Ten Commandments"

Is finally out...in C.G.!!!...well, barely...(I could do this shite on my laptop!).
I "Twitteranted" about this a while back when I first saw the trailer...and seriously, this is the reason I'm a lot 'meh' about Cg anim...(I mean, really!...compare this to "Prince of Egypt". Hey?)
*anger...rising...grrrr*
I say, let's get it on with the "2D Rennaissance"!!! Let's go!!!

Check out the "Sizzle Reel" (whatever that means) here. (...Elliot Gould as the voice of "God"??)

[Marvlove Note to God:...before you strike me down with some "Thunder&Lightning" action...I mean the animation, not the story...don't hurt me... ]

...really, i would rather watch a feature length version of Lido the Lion...

...well,...almost...

Aaah this story is exactly like the prince of egypt, why would you redo it in cg lol.... I really dont like the look.. it looks so plastic and not alive.
What are your thoughts on cg backgrounds/ surroundings in 2d animation? I know pyrats uses cg surroundings, but I loved it.

I know! What a waste of time!
Oh I don't mind cg when it's done really well,(like pirates etc.) and in this day and age in tech. there's no real reason to do it badly.
I hate it when i.t./tech people who think just because they know how to use Max or Maya, they think they can animate....GRRRR!!!!
