...C'mon! I could have said no to the reverse elephant print...I could have said no to the black snake(ish)-skin detail...and no to the faux ostrich leather toe-box...but the "speckled midsoles"?!?...Gah! Yup. It had me at hello...

Some purists balk at the hybrids ("mash-ups"), but I'm seriously feelin' these! I love the Dunk, and I love the Trainer I...so this is twice the love!...and throw in a Skittles speckled "Free" sole?....love all around!

...and I must say, these are comfy as f**k! (and this from a person who will, and have, sacrificed comfort for stylin' many a time...*shallow*? Yes.)

...as well as my self-imposed restriction on any new footwear purchases (I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times, but I'm persevering!)...I've also thrown in Designer Toys in the mix...

My thinking was that because we'll be over here in the Phils. for chunky stints, I'd be able to get away from the alluring little "buy me...you know you want to" voice I seem to hear whenever I'm within...well, any retail type area...

Well, suffice it to say, things aren't going very well...Not only is shopping (or "mall-ing") the national pastime/sport over here, but kicks don't seem to fly off the shelves like they do everywhere else...and more often than not even hit the sale-bin!!! ( Fire- Reds on sale for 40 bucks? Old/New Love for 100?? Copped Jam Master Jay Superstars for 150???...AAARRGGHH!).

Aaaanyway...I thought I'd be safe from the "collectibles", since I'd been to possibly every mall there is over here and not a "Labbit" in sight! Yes!...Safe. Until a mate ( Tollo = enabler) mentioned the words: "Geisha Dunny".

Although this seemed like complete bollocks (and an easy way to waste 25coins+shipping), I sent away for it anyway and found that it actually worked ok...

I rarely let kicks get dirty enough to warrant a good scrubbin'...but for some spot cleaning, give it a go.
But to avoid heartache (and scrubbing), I suggest just giving your kicks a wipe-down after every use. I use "Huggies Wipes"...the unscented or extra -sensitive (like me!) type, 'coz the others may contain alcohol or some such ingredients that might ruin the "lustre"!

An outstanding exercise in "left-hip-check" animation/storytelling...from Adam Phillips, award-winning animator-director / Flash Master/ Brackenwood Owner-creator/ ...and one of the most talented "MoFo's I know...
These stories made me cringe ("Dry-lip"; "Razor"), dry heave ("Breakfast"; "Weightlifter") , ponder ("Vampire")...but most importantly, they made me laugh-giggle-chortle-thigh-slapping guffaw! (...all of them!!!).
...also serves as a little glimpse of the man's psyche...which some would describe as, shall we say, esophoric. Actually, I've known the guy for years so it's all pretty normal to me now....( and still f*ckin hilarious!).
